Evidence, exports and sharing

How a record becomes evidence: the history behind it, the export a supervisory authority would accept, and the links you send colleagues.

Exporting a record

Any record exports to PDF. The page carries the reference, the version, the state, the date of export and the organisation it belongs to, so a document produced to an authority or an auditor can be traced back to the record it came from.

Registers export as a whole, and the record of processing exports in the form Article 30 asks for.

Backing up and restoring

The whole workspace backs up to a CSV file from the overview, and restores from the same file. Keep a backup before a large change, such as a restructuring of your business units.

Sending a colleague to the exact answer

Every gap and every record carries a link that reopens the exact page and highlights the field concerned. Copy the link and send it, rather than describing where to click.

Where a link no longer resolves, because the record was renamed or removed, Prudence states so and returns you to the register instead of failing silently.
